CORAL

At the STORE, I walked straight over to the jewelry counter. It was like a bright ARROW pointed me precisely where I needed to be. You see, ever since I have been drawn back into the family, my Mom has been on my mind. And something told me that I would find here CORAL jewelry very like what she had had. I was pleased to see that I was correct. Lingering over some necklaces and brooches in a shop was an unexpected treat, having an quiet conversation with my Mama while doing so made my heart full.

Georg’ann

Experienced with her flights of fancy,
LOATH to let her try CORAL paint.
Limiting beliefs held over
from my own childhood.
Raised with no resources to waste,
struggle to allow experimentation.
Quashes my creative expression.
Here opportunity to correct course,
move away from constriction of hers.
Open to this powerful punch of color,
no matter duration of infatuation.
“Yes, honey, all four walls, absolutely.”
